# ClipCost

> ClipCost (https://costperclip.com) calculates what an AI video actually costs per usable clip. It tracks verified pricing, credit rates, expiry traps and commercial/watermark rules for 12 AI video tools, checked against official pricing pages. Sticker price x (1 + retries) at the real price-per-credit is the core method: a generation is not a usable video.

ClipCost is free to read for humans and agents. Pricing data is also available as machine-readable JSON (see below). Prices change often — always check the official pricing source linked for each tool before buying.
