Quick answer
On Pika’s annual plans a credit costs $0.00889, so a usable 720p 30-second clip (3 attempts) costs $5.28 on Wan 3.0, $5.44 on Kling 3.0, $8.00 on Veo 3.1 Fast and $19.52 on Seedance 2.5. The cheapest is Wan 3.0 at 720p: 33 credits per 5 seconds, $1.76 per 30-second try, $5.28 usable — #28 of all 210 rates we rank. Kling 3.0 (34 credits per 5s) ranks #35, Veo 3.1 Fast (80 per 8s) #54 and Seedance 2.5 (122 per 5s) #109. On monthly billing every figure is 25% higher; paid with top-up packs (60 credits per $1) it is 1.875× higher — $9.90 for the same Wan 3.0 clip. Pika publishes only these 720p prices; Pika 2.5, Kling 4.0, MiniMax H3 and other settings are quoted in the app: check official pricing.
New Nov 1, 2026 (9pm): Kling 3.0 720p (34 credits per 5s) and Veo 3.1 Fast 720p (80 credits per 8s) on Pika are now in ClipCost’s verified data and rankings (#31 and #50), from the plan-finder data on Pika’s official pricing page. That re-ranked every rate from $5.44 up (e.g. Seedance 2.5 on Pika moved to #104). Flags: these two prices come from the page’s plan-finder examples, not its visible table, and neither states the audio setting; Kling 3.0’s own Pika app page now opens Kling 4.0, which has no published price.
Basis: usable = 3 attempts (1 + 2 retries) at the listed credits per second, as in our calculator. Plan credit = Starter or Creator billed annually ($8 for 900 credits or $28 for 3,150 = $0.00889; every paid plan gives 112.5 credits per $1 annual and 90 per $1 monthly). Pika lists one clip length per model, so other lengths are costed linearly at the same per-second rate. Rank = position among the 210 verified usable-30s rates in our verified data (ties share a rank). Cost only — no quality ranking.

Plan credits vs top-up packs
- Plans (checked Nov 1, 2026): Free $0 with 0 credits (packs only, no commercial license); Starter $10/mo or $8/mo annual for 900 credits; Creator $35/mo or $28/mo annual for 3,150; Fancy $95–$880/mo ($76–$704 annual) for 8,550+ credits with a priority queue and early access from the $440/mo tier. Starter and up include a commercial license; no plan adds a watermark. Plan credits don’t roll over.
- Top-up packs: 60 credits per $1 on every plan — 1,500 for $25, 3,000 for $50, 6,000 for $100, 12,000 for $200, 30,000 for $500, 66,000 for $1,000 (+10%). They carry over and expire 365 days after purchase.
- Where top-ups work: only in Pika Create on pika.art and in Pika MCP — not in the API, the iOS app or old.pika.art. If you generate there, budget with plan credits.
- Which is cheaper: plan credits ($0.00889 annual, $0.0111 monthly) beat packs ($0.0167) whenever you use them up within the month; packs only win if you’d otherwise leave plan credits unused.

FAQ
How much does Pika cost per second?
On Pika's Starter or Creator plan billed annually a credit costs $0.00889 (Starter: $8/mo for 900 credits, checked Nov 1, 2026), so the published 720p prices work out to about $0.059/sec for Wan 3.0 (33 credits per 5s), $0.060 for Kling 3.0 (34 per 5s), $0.089 for Veo 3.1 Fast (80 per 8s) and $0.217 for Seedance 2.5 (122 per 5s). Monthly billing is 25% more per credit ($0.0111) and credit packs nearly double it ($0.0167).
How much does a 30-second Pika video cost?
One 30-second try at 720p costs $1.76 on Wan 3.0, $1.81 on Kling 3.0, $2.67 on Veo 3.1 Fast and $6.51 on Seedance 2.5 at the annual plan credit price. With 2 retries (3 attempts) a usable 30-second clip is $5.28, $5.44, $8.00 and $19.52. Paid with top-up credits instead, the same usable clips cost $9.90, $10.20, $15.00 and $36.60.
What is the cheapest model on Pika?
Wan 3.0 at 720p: 33 credits per 5 seconds, $5.28 per usable 30-second clip on the annual plan credit, #28 of the 210 rates ClipCost ranks. Kling 3.0 720p is close behind at $5.44 (#35). Pika only publishes 720p prices for these models, so other resolutions and models need the in-app quote.
Do Pika top-up credits cost more than plan credits?
Yes. Credit packs are 60 credits per $1 ($0.0167 per credit) on every plan, from 1,500 credits for $25 up to 66,000 for $1,000 with a 10% bonus, versus $0.00889 per plan credit on annual billing and $0.0111 monthly. Top-ups carry over and expire 365 days after purchase, while plan credits don't roll over. Top-ups work only in Pika Create on pika.art and in Pika MCP, not in the API, the iOS app or old.pika.art.
Is Pika cheaper than Runway or Kling?
Than Runway, yes for the same models: Wan 3.0 720p is $5.28 per usable 30s on Pika vs $17.28 inside Runway, and Kling 3.0 is $5.44 on Pika vs $15.55 for Kling 3.0 Standard without audio inside Runway. Against Kling's own app it's about even: Kling 3.0 720p without audio is $5.40 there and $8.10 with audio, and Pika doesn't state the audio setting behind its 34-credit price. ClipCost compares cost only, not quality.
Does Pika's Free plan include credits or a commercial license?
No. Free has 0 monthly credits (you can only buy packs) and no commercial license. Starter ($8/mo annual, $10 monthly) and higher plans include a commercial license, and Pika's pricing table says no plan adds a watermark (checked Nov 1, 2026).
